EXPERT WITNESS

 

  • Our advice can be sought in technical and practical aspects of marine disputes with the specialist area being tankers and bulk liquid cargos; we will investigate claims on behalf of clients and provide a balanced and informed commentary for your consideration. Our expert witness are able to attend arbitrations where necessary.

 

INSURANCE

  • Attendance on vessels and cargoes on behalf of Insurance and General Average Interests.
  • Risk Analysis and Accident Investigation

 

OIL CARGO LOSS CONTROL/SUPERINTENDENCY

  • Our Superintendent will travel worldwide to attend either the loading and discharging of crude oil and oil product shipments.
  • Our Superintendent will attend (with or without the presence of an Independent Surveyor) all operations relating to the loading or discharging of an oil cargo, provided local procedures permit and necessary permission is requested and granted.
  • Our aim is to protect our customer’s best interests at all times. Our Superintendent will take only necessary actions and steps to obtain the best results that their technical knowledge, diplomacy and persuasion may achieve.

 

BLENDING OPERATIONS

  • Superintendent fully experienced in all aspects of shipboard blending of products to achieve clients required specifications.
  • Advice on pre-planning and particular shipboard blend by reference to purpose written ‘In-House’ computer software.

 

ON HIRE SURVEY : LOADING & DISCHARGE SURVEYS

  • Consultant will attend the vessel, chartered or otherwise, and advise on any particular requirements, at the same time providing an independent record of operations.
  • Portable Computer based software to carry out on site Draft Surveys as and when required.

 

SHIP TO SHIP TRANSFER

  • Provision of very experienced Mooring Master, conversant with current documentation requirements, to assist with mooring and cargo transfer.
  • Provision of high quality equipment, including fenders, hoses and tugs.
  • Supervision and documentation of operation to ensure charter party compliance.
  • On board training of crew in all aspects of the operation.

 

CONDITION SURVEYS

  • Full assessment of the vessel’s condition to meet the requirements of P & I Club pre-entry
    and interim surveys.
  • Full assessment of the vessel conditions and advise to potential purchasers and
    charterer’s.

 

AUDITING SERVICE

  • Full practical assessment of vessel or terminal with respect to operational practices in
    place.

 

NEW BUILDING SUPERINTENDENCY

  • Provision experienced superintendent to advise and supervise new building projects at
    any shipyard in the Far East region

 

WARRANTY TOWAGE APPROVAL SURVEYS

  • Provision experienced superintendent to carry our towage approval surveys -
    superintendent approved by major European insurance group
